What we collect

Three things, and you hand over each one deliberately:

• What you tell us when you sign up — your name, your business name, what kind of business it is, its zip code, and your email address.
• What your point of sale sends — your sales: order totals, item sales, and when they happened. The connection is read-only. TAC reads your numbers and cannot change anything in your register.
• What you tell us during setup — the things your numbers can't carry on their own, like rent, staffing, and the hours you keep.

If you add QuickBooks later, TAC reads your profit and loss and nothing else from it. The website also records basic, cookieless analytics — page views and load speed. There are no advertising trackers and no cross-site profile of you.

How we use it

One purpose: producing your reads. Your numbers are what TAC reads to tell you what changed in your business, why it changed, and what it's worth.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. TAC makes money one way — $99 a month.

How we store it

Your data is encrypted on its way to TAC and while it's stored. Every business's data is kept separate, and only your login reaches yours.

Third-party services

Running TAC means a few other companies handle parts of it:

• Square and Toast — your point of sale, through the connection you authorise.
• QuickBooks — only if you choose to add it.
• Stripe — payment. Your card number never touches TAC.
• Supabase — your account and sign-in.
• Vercel — hosting, and the cookieless analytics above.
• Resend — delivering the messages you send us from the contact page.

Your rights

Your data is yours, and leaving is not a negotiation:

• Disconnect your point of sale whenever you want — TAC's access is revoked at the source.
• Cancel whenever you want — one click, no phone call. Billing stops.
• Ask us to delete everything, and we will. Send a message from the contact page.
